Yup, The “kid” was Bobby Miller… who now manages Red’S Fly Shop, in Ellensburg Washington. I see the copper-wire Grayling you made for me every day and think of you… and always with a smile. All is well here, working hard and enjoying the days.

Hey Bob, Lewis here. Great story. I had the pleasure of working with Bobby one summer, maybe that same one, and of course several with you and Tyler. Never shared a tent with someone that smelled worse than Tyler, he said it kept the skeeters away, although I had some serious doubts to his wisdom. Eric mannon just stopped in s Dakota Friday. I have 40(+) essays and short stories collected from my first 40 summers in Alaska and am currently looking for a publisher. The only thing holding me back is finding a good illustrator… know anyone?
