I love to paint landscapes with evening light reflected on water. If the water happens to be full of fish… all the better. This is the view at Birch Camp, looking upriver at the end of the day. “Birch” is located on the Middle Fork of the Goodnews River in Alaska. It is one of two remote overnight camps operated by Bristol Bay Lodge.
This oil on stretched canvas was completed in the summer of 2016 in Alaska, during my Artist-in-Residence week at Bristol Bay Lodge.
