About the Author
APRIL CONRAD is a full-time wife, mom and marketing executive. A graduate of Pepperdine University, she captained the women’s golf team for three years before pursuing a professional career in the sport. Upon retiring from competition, April specialized in project management, with emphasis in sales and management training and event marketing. She currently manages local market and customer development for a Fortune 100 company.
A devoted Christian, April gives of her time and talents through various ministries and charitable organizations. She and her husband founded Hooked on a Cure, which supports St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital through a love of fly fishing.
When not pursuing her outdoor passions, April can be found cheering on her children at various little league events, or working in her gardens. Also the author of several short stories, including The Grits Cricket, Full Circle is her first novel. She is currently working on her second book project. April lives in Florence, Alabama, with her husband and best friend, Will, their two amazing children Anna and William, and a very snuggly rat terrier.
