It’s good to be back at work. In the past few weeks I’ve painted a two-page illustration for Shooting Sportsman, completed four paintings for Ducks Unlimited, and now have my nose to the grindstone, wrapping up seventeen pencil drawings to illustrate, “Seasons on the Flats”, a book written by my friend, Bill Horn, soon to be published by Stackpole Books.
I’ve also taken some time to sort through the notes I kept last summer at Bristol Bay Lodge, and realize that I have the outlines for at least 75 essays and short stories. I hope to share some of these with you over the months to come.
