Some consider ravens and crows to be omens of death. In Norse and Celtic mythology, these birds are seen as messengers between the worlds of the living and the dead.
It was thought that Odin had two messengers who were ravens. Their names were Huginn and Muninn, which loosely translates to Thought and Memory.
I have a long and curious history with the family Corvus, particularly crows and ravens. They seem to bring me news of what’s to come.
When they speak to me… I’ve learned to listen.
