Spring means different things to all of us.
To me, spring is a soft evening sky and a warm breeze. Tree frogs singing in chorus… and the call of wood ducks as they flight into the wetland behind the studio.
When I was a boy, wood ducks were scarce; pushed into an ever shrinking corner by loss of habitat. They were brought back from the brink by sound management practices and scraps of cedar, nailed together by sportsmen and boy scout troops.
Wood ducks make me feel good.
